Am I alone in thinking that the pictures in the article just aren't very good?

Some are, but many aren't. I didn't find most of the Spa pictures to be any good, they were too dark, too much crap in the way, color balance way off on most of them. I mean this is not a good picture, I'm sorry:

Then the museum pictures, this one is especially mediocre with the railing blocking out a third of the shot

This one looks crooked to me, and a bit overexposed

Am I saying I could do any better? Of course not. I appreciate the tips I suppose, but I'd like to see better examples I guess.

I felt the same way...good tips so-so examples. Which is weird because Speedhunters normally does very nice shots.
